About Us

Kiddles Coaches was founded in 1947 by Jack Kiddle operating from our original depot in East Street, St. Ives.

Jack began trading as a taxi company and expanded into coaches as demand from the local community increased. On his retirement, he was succeeded by his son Edward who continued to run the business until August 1995 when it was purchased by long standing employee Ray Willmore who continues to operate under the Kiddle name.

Since taking over, Ray has strived to maintain the tradition of the business, keeping it a household name by offering a friendly, courteous, quality service at competitive prices.

About our fleet...

Our fleet consists of 16, 53, 61, 70 and 85 seat climate controlled/air conditioned coaches, some of which are touring coaches equipped with on board toilet facilities, DVD players and PA system. We can also supply a luggage trailer on selected vehicles. All our coaches are fitted with vehicle tracking so that we can monitor their position at any time.

For groups wishing to enter London, our coaches are compliant with the London Low Emission Zone and therefore avoid the surcharge of £200 per day charged on vehicles which do not meet the pollution reducing regulations governing exhaust emissions.

All vehicles are subject to regular safety inspections, service and maintenance in our on-site workshops in accordance with VOSA regulations.

All our drivers are DBS/CRB checked and hold the mandatory driver CPC qualification. Our drivers receive regular in-house training in all aspects of customer care.
